Privacy policy

Ferngully Productions (ABN 46 419 596 755) is run by Liam Moore from Cooloolabin, Queensland. This page explains what I collect when you enquire or book, what I do with it, and how to ask for it to be changed or deleted. I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What I collect

  • When you enquire: your name, email, phone number, event date and type, your message, how you heard about me, and whether you'd like news and offers.
  • When you book: what's needed to plan and run your event, such as the venue, timings, music choices, guest names for announcements, and invoices and payments.
  • On the night: if you have the photobooth, the email addresses guests type in so their photos can be sent to them, and the photos themselves.
  • When you call or email: whatever you choose to tell me.

How I use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, quote and plan your event.
  • To send your booking agreement, invoices and reminders.
  • To send photobooth photos to the guests who took them, and to you after the night.
  • To send news and offers, but only if you ticked the box. Every email has a way to unsubscribe, or you can just ask me.

I don't sell or rent your details to anyone.

Who else handles it

Enquiries and bookings are kept in Planning Beats, the booking system I use. The enquiry form on this site is provided by Planning Beats and may use cookies it needs to work. Email is handled by my email provider. These services may store information on servers outside Australia. I only share what's needed to run your event, for example timings with your venue.

Photos from events

I sometimes take photos and video of the setup and the dance floor, and use them on this website and social media. I never name clients without their permission. If you're in a photo and would like it taken down, email me and I'll remove it.

This website

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Links to Google reviews and maps take you to Google, which has its own privacy policy.

Keeping it safe

I keep your details in password-protected systems and only for as long as I need them for your booking, my records and the law.

Seeing, changing or deleting your details

You can ask to see what I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, unless I have to keep it, such as tax records. Email liam@ferngullyproductions.com or call 0461 589 124.

Concerns

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, contact me first and I'll do my best to put it right. If it's still not sorted, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
